Can you get backlinks through ezine comments?

I noticed they allow you to post comments, I also notice they ask for a web URL when filling it out(not sure if that counts for a backlink?) or if you can leave one in your comment..?

I'm guessing no though as I've never once heard it from anyone

and if you can im guessing google aint gonna keep giving you backlink credit on the one website

ezinearticles website is allowing back-link yes in comments or in articles, So i think they will allow you to comment but proper comments only counts.

i always have had this question, is the url spot when filling out comments the only place you need to leave your website? Or do you have to leave it in the actual comments as well?

and would i continuously get credit for every back link on ezine doing that? or is it only worth doing a few times?
