On my new Xfactor/Clickbump wordpress website the google ad is not displaying the correct target. It is showing ads for commercial/industrial products and not the target consumer audience. Is there anything I can do to fine tune the ad Google Adsense choice of ads? Thanks. Dan |

Be sure that the file name of the web page contains the keyword you are targeting as this is a strong influence on the Google bot's interpretation of what your site is about. For instance, if you are aiming for ads concerning natural remedies for acne be sure the page filename is similar to "natural-remedies-for-acne.html" as this is an important indicator to the Adsense software which visits your site. A problem can also arise when you set up your web page on the site before it is complete. Google bot examines what is there and responds to the early material, even if you start with a template for insurance and later change it to, say, natural health products. It's better to complete the page before activating Adsense and placing the page on the site. Otherwise you get the insurance ads when you wanted natural remedies for Acne. Ivan |
