Default Your adsense template might be holding you back

After I read Xfactor's adsense course, I build a site really quick from scratch using dreamweaver. I ran it through IBP this morning and it said I had a 49% chance of being in the top 10. I then used another template that someone else had created and just copied over all the content. I ran that through IBP and it said I had an 82% chance of being in the top 10. this is without building backlinks yet.

its IBusiness Promoter. I just started another site that has an exact match for keywords but with dashes. I ran it through I business promoter and it said i had an 80% of getting ranked in the top 10. (without link building yet). I have another competitor with the exact match for keywords without dashes and he sits at #8. I ran his site through IBP and it said he had a 71% of being in the top 10. so, i think i can outrank him even though his domain doesn't have dashes in it and mine does.

Morning Warriors~~
Never heard of the IBP so it will go on the list of 'things to check out' ..thanks Offrav!

Here is my something 'giving back' instead of my usual absorbing...being the newbie sponge I am...

I ran across this somewhere a couple of days ago -- can't say I have any 'stats' to spout on it all except that I have had a few more pennies in my adsense acct; not more due to my own lack of action on it so far.

Adsense Templates For Google!

EASIEST thing I have seen so far and nice looking (IMO)......I'm still playing with my three freebies, but will certainly order the 50-pack soon.

Check it out -- any 'experienced' adsense warriors; I'd be interested in hearing they are as good as I think (in my unexperienced opinion).

I think that site is pretty awful. The HTML source is horrible to look at and clearly not written by a professional or even a modern WYSIWYG program. The graphics look amateurish. The sample template violates AdSense terms. Avoid.

Andie,

Save your money on that 50-pack.

The sample template they show is breaking Google's TOS. You risk losing your Adsense account if you use it the way they display it. You cannot have pictures above Adsense ads to entice someone to click.

Look at this free WordPress theme from DoshDash if your looking for an effective template:

You can try the heatmap theme as well.

Adsense and Ads Ready WordPress Theme - HeatMap Theme

I use the prosense theme on most of my sites but I find it somehow lacking in aesthetics. Trying out the heatmap theme.
