Are backlinks from these sites important enough?

Alright, so my article was sitting on page 5 of my search term without even having backlinks yet, so I decided to get it to page one with backlinks.

It disappeared, the next day it was on page 4, but now it's disappeared for longer.

I know it's supposed to reappear (I hope) but I'm trying to speed up the process.

Will getting backlinks from sites already ranking for my search term have any effect on its ranking for that term? I thought I might have read somewhere that this may be the case, but I can't find that anywhere anymore.

Getting backlinks from relevant sites should help you.

There have been a number of debates about this but it at this point it remains unproven (beyond the anchor text being used). Still you should have a wide enough range of backlinks working with to have some relevant links. You might even find your site settles back where it is with no new technique.

For me the back links it may not help with the ranking but it helps to get traffic.

getting backlink from irrelevant sites disappear from serps frequently , so build relevant site backlink

Getting back links is useful for websites but relevancy is also important. Back links increase SERP as well as help to improve PR especially for Google search engine.

Right, obviously relevant sites linking back to your site would be helpful for you. So try to get links from niche sites. Now I'm also not sure that how much Google gives importance to links from Artilces. Yahoo can show number of backlinks from artilces but Google will not easily show backlinks from several articles.
