oh now I understand why I got some pages deindexed. ![]() Daniel , my question is: How much time you usually spend for backlinking 5-10 blog posts ? After you gave idea above about what you do, this seams like bunch of many hours of work. But I have 20 blogs. Other question: how much you pay for the services for submitting + plugins? Thanks in advance Quote:

Thanks for the tips But here is my 2 cents: It's too dangerous to build backlinks that fast (1000 links a day is enormous amount of links). I really think that you need to maintain easy-easy tempo when it comes to backlink building, and the less artificial links - the better. So I'd be careful with those 1k links a day, Google slap is watching us guys. Thanks |

Thanks for that post..but it looks as if it's an inorganic way of building links..too many links in a short time can harm you...so be alert.

feedburner: I would stay away from using a service that google runs.. also, as was mentioned later in the thread, feedburner isn't indexed, etc. It concerns me that the OP talked about feedburner as if he had a lot of real experience/facts backing up his use of it.. yet it turns ot it was a waste of his time.. which leads me to this: in my experinece, the bulk of this stuff quite working a year or so ago. Most of it invovles nofollow's and redirects (bit.ly), which in my opinion do not warrant much time devoted to aquiring. I still use rss in my seo efforts, but it's not as simple and straight forward as it once was. Heck, the OP talks about how great a link building process this is, yet he then turns around and says he doesn't like to use tools to check for # of backlinks.. could it be because the reality does not meet expectations? twitter: not only is it nofollow, but most tools replace your urls with redirects (bit.ly, etc). I use twitterfeed, but for clients who want their social media efforts more automated - I do not use it for seo/link building. Quote:
I'm still digesting what you wrote, as my initial reaction is that there is some good stuff mixed with some questionably effective stuff, but I thought I would comment on those issues. I DO tend to agree with some of your dup content conclusions - and like you, I have no issues with people scraping me feeds

There should be a term called link sniping coined, which would mean that you build links to something, like 5-6 blog posts until they get ranked where you want them to rank, like in top 3 or until you realize that the effort or competition to rank in top 3 isn't wort hit. If you have tons of content then at least get it all to page 1 for desired terms Quote:

Twitter, twitterfeed, feedburner, rss links and delicious links are all good because they serve as index drivers (getting urls indexed), that's it. I'm back to using FB now in conjunction with feedage because FB does better job of posting autotweets than twitter feed does and supposedly does some pinging of feed item urls Quote:

I find simply pinging pingomatic type sites is enough to get my sites indexed, in conjunction with an xml sitemap & "sitemap update" pings to google.
