hey guys, i plan to target keyword phrases with about 200 searches/month and around 2000 search results for allintitle:keywordphrase I'm wondering how hard it is to rank for a keyword with such little competition? is it safe to assume that 10 mediocre backlinks to my page and decent on-page SEO would get me ranked page 1? |

Just naming your website the keyword will most likely get you ranked with that low of competition. Oh missed that you meant allintitle. The only way to know how many backlinks it will take is to check how many backlinks the site you want to beat have. You can use seo for firefox toolbar, seoquake toolbar, yahoo site explorer to see how many they have. |

The best way to rank fast is to get an exact match domain name for the keyword you want to rank for. By exact match I mean if you want to rank for "some phrase" get somephrase.com or somephrase.net or somephrase.org. If those are taken, get a domain that just adds a word on the end of the keyword phrase you want to rank for like somephraseword.com. Get links, and you will rank.
