Hi, this is a very noob question, but I have a website that is ranked on the first page of Google, but the description (Few sentences after the Title of the website) is random text that is not appealing at all. I it is a wordpress blog, so is there a plugin or settings that I can use to change this? Thanks |

| That's part of it. Install all in one seo, then create a meta description. Be aware though that sometimes google will use the meta description and sometimes it will grab random text off your page that they feel satisfies the query regardless of whether or not you have a meta description or not.

| I agree with this. So make sure, that everything you put in there would be appealing to your site. Play with words..

You could also try the Headspace2 plugin. I use that in conjunction with the All-in-One SEO plugin. May be overkill but I like to try to get Google to do what I want for once.

You might want to try this one by Jeff Johnson. It's a nice plug-in. undergroundtraininglab.com/tgsp-install/ - it's free.
