I just logged into my Adsense account and saw that yesterday, I earned $36.25 for one click at one of my less trafficked sites. Woohoo! This is the highest amount of money I've ever made from one click. Just so you know, this comes from a page on a general information site. The content on this site is mainly articles I got from directories, and not my own content. This particular Adsense page has financial information on it. I'm not telling what type, though. ![]() What's your highest earning Adsense click? |

| Sometimes these high prices happen when someone is testing on Adwords. Maybe its a new advertiser testing the waters and willing to pay top dollar. My usual clicks for this niche are good, but in the normal range. I don't expect to get another payout like this anytime soon.

There is always a newbie into the Adwords world and probably this is why you got a such a high click.

However, there is a way of increasing the chances of getting high priced ($1+) clicks. I created a niche blog recently in a subniche of the auto insurance niche. And what I did was target about 5 keyword phrases within that subniche that have CPC values over $15. The CPC value (cost per click) is the amount of money an Adwords advertiser is paying to get their ad into the #1 spot. I generally estimate that I will earn about 10% to 25% of this value when someone clicks on an adsense ad optimized for the keyword phrases I am targeting. So if a particilar keyword phrase has a CPC value of $20, I estimate that I will make between $1.00 to $2.50 each time someone clicks on the ad. It's not an exact science, but it has totally changed things for me. Before, I was getting mostly $0.05 payouts for the clicks I was generating. With my auto insurance niche blog targeted at just a handful of keyword phrases with CPC values above $20, I have not gotten a single click for under $1.00. I just checked my stats and the lowest click payout was $1.41. My highest click payout was $3.34. And the average amount is $2.54. Getting 5 cent clicks sucks! By focusing on keyword phrases with higher CPCs, you should increase the chances of getting higher click payouts. Hope that helps. KateD | |

This is great. OK many years ago, in the beginning of adsense I got $21.71 for one click! I thought it was a typo, but no, I got paid. Sadly sadsense clicks now generate pennies. Hope they rejigger the algo so we get more money.

I got a $39 click once, and have had a large number of $20-something clicks, mostly on insurance-related pages. It's only by catching the first click of the day that you see it because all other clicks after that, in my cases, were for much less money and watered down the average. There has NEVER been a case where I even came close to these large amounts for averaged clicks on the same page.

| I have multiple sites. Most of them are niche sites that focus on a specific subject. This particular site is an information site that features many topics. Much harder to promote, so I haven't done anything with it for a long time - yet it gets a trickle of regular traffic. |

I will only believe it when I see it! Will you attach a screen shot of that click? That would get me excited, otherwise.... it means nothing, just a bunch of words that anyone can claim, and could be false (no offence )I'm sure everyone here would love to see that adsense figure for a click! Even if it's not theirs ![]() So come on, share the wealth ![]() JP Quote:

| I'd trust the warrior wouldn't use photoshop, and I'm pretty sure I would be able to tell anyways, but even so, some sort of proof is better than nothing, also like I said, I'd trust the warrior enough to assume photoshop or any editing wouldn't be used. |

Thats an incredible amount of money for a click. There are clickbank products that dont even pay close to that. The highest amount I was paid for a click was a little over $6 last month.

My highest Adsense click was $6. One of my sites consistently average $.80 to $1.50 depending on the time of month, but the average of the other sites is a lot lower. |

Congrats on the big-money click! Certainly puts your faith back in the old phrase, "All it takes is one." In my business, I've found that a lot of professionals take a sabbatical in December. Translation ==> they have more time to cruise the ad copy and follow the links. Again, good for you. Happy for ya!

Really good. $1 - $2 is avarage for a good keyword I think. People should not get carried away with this post. $36 is brilliant. Funny, if you want to advertise those keywords in adwords you would not get any keyword under $4, but somehow, webmasters do not get that sort of money.
