Default Can You Have an Affiliate Link Banner on the Main Page Opposite an Adsense Banner on the Left Panel

Hi guys,

This site has four affiliate banners at the bottom of the main page but opposite these four 468 x 60 banners is a 600 x 160 google adsense ads which sometimes turn into a banner adsense ads.
My friend is worried that it may go against Adsense TOS and is not willing to ask himself.

But so far as I can see and read it is not against theer TOS ... but that is something I do not really know.

So I am asking if any of you guys can help me resolve this.
this is the website

Wow, you have a lot of ads =P Well, I don't see any problem with this. Another site that has multiple ad companies on it is Problogger.net and they have no problems. And other than that, I've had Adsense and affiliate links and banners on my site and no problems have popped up. I've even tried having Adsense and Adbrite on my sites too.

Shouldn't be a problem, but you should go over their TOS one more time to make sure.

Kris.

Thanks very much Kris...

I have a feeling there is no problem with it but since my friend who I am helping ask for it, i did. You mentioned about too much ads, Do you mean something like the double up 336 x 280 right off the front?

Would you mine if you can give any further comment on the layout and I can convey to him... he is a newbie and a relative and I did mention that to him but he said he rather have them there.

Thanks
oling

There's nothing wrong with them there in, and of themselves but it's just that it seems very salesy... There are 14 ads just on that one page o.O

And the writing also looks a little over-optimized.

People who look from that site would be like, "Yes. That is very cheap web-hosting," but in a mocking sort of way. Would you really buy through that site, or at least think that something's up?

If it's really an info site, then I'd suggest putting in some 125x125 ads instead of regular banners because it looks nicer. (In the sidebars). And the adsense in the middle of the writing is kind of poor... It's like when you're trying to read a book, and a salesman cuts you off.

I could go on, but I think that the site could be a little more reader-friendly.
