the Googlebot visited today and Traffic Exploded!

up until today I have had a high PR site bringing traffic to my sites for the last 6 months,good targeted traffic through SEO. After a change over in site design and a few other new things we dropped major in rank. So for the last few weeks we've been 'scrubbing the bottom' for traffic, mostly google image traffic. But now this morning after a few links and some blog comments. We shot back up in rankings, many first pages actually. Its kind wierd but when I see Google in my site monitor I know theres something going to happen! The bot visited about 11am and right after that I got all kinds of traffic.. anyone else ever see wierd stuff while tracking?

Yeah good that your tracking. But, don't stop there! Keep doing what your doing so the raffic keeps coming! Many people stop after seeing good results then the results stop coming so good - just keep going! Try doing twice as much every week then the week before.

Well, I get a lot more traffic than Google Analytics says. I get like 1000% more actually -.-' I think that's Google Analytics' problem, though.

And another weird thing, when I tried free sniping then only my pages without content got indexed? I mean my About page, and Contact page and stuff. Lol

Google's slowly been implementing the new caffeine model and that may be the bot did...and why most of your rankings shot up..same thing happened to me and my rankings matched that of the google caffeine page where you could check your new caffeine ratings...that means you had...well I dont want to reveal too much about what the new caffeine model does!

yea another thing,lets not mention the G*ogster because soon as I made this tread my traffic dropped,then popped back up over night,.... Really weird lol

How can we track Google bot visits.Does Google webmaster tool shows this?
