What Microblogging site good for Dofollow backlink

Hello everyone, I am just wondering if any one know of any microblogging blogs that is effective for getting a dofollow backlink from and how effective is your experience with the sites. I heard someone mentioned identi.ca here in the forum, i gave it a try and 30 minutes later my comment is already showing and indexed. Do you know of any other ones and how effective they can be as part of link building strategy

Hi olamilekan2,

Nofollow links are just as effective as do follow links for getting indexed, the nofollow links just don't pass linkjuice.

Hi lightanjoy,

Twitter is a micro-blog and just like any other blog you can make posts (very short posts) that include your link. If you make posts, that other people find useful, you will build a nice list of followers.

Google spends a lot of time crawling Twitter, and when they find your link they will send the Googlebots your way.
