I was looking at the Adbrite web site a couple of days ago. I didn't see anywhere on the site to indicate anything on what kind of revenue you could expect. I know that Google doesn't exactly tell you, but at least you can find out what advertisers are paying approximatly. I didn't even find that on the Adbrite site. I wrote to them to ask a couple of questions and got a non answer. So I was wondering if anyone here has used them and what their opinion was? Is it a pay per click, or can you get paid for the number of impressions the ads get? Any other information you want to share would be appreciated. I just wanted to get an idea on if this is a decent source to monetize a site. I don't expect to know exact numbers, but it would be nice to know the minimum price you can expect to get for a thousand views or what ever. |

Adbrite pays you for CPM as well as CPC. There are no tools where you can find about CPC provided by adbrite. I have initially signed up with Adbrite but didn't placed their adv on my website. The main concern was 1. About the small network they have. 2. The trojans that are due to adbrite network. Those were the days when i was just trying other networks as my G adsene application was under examination. |

Thanks for your response. I guess not too many people use their network to monetize their web site. I would have thought that I could have got a little more response than this. O well. I guess I will just forget about considering using them.

It's like any other network. If you can deliver quality traffic in quantity to advertisers willing to spend you can make money. Adbrite is a huge network, but if you expect it to perform like Adsense for small publishers you would be mistaken.
