Backlinking

I took a break from IM for a while and been reading a lot about people backlinking using methods other than articles or bookmarking.

Anyone have some examples of these for me? Would be greatly appreciated. Giving IM another shot.

Find some high PR government or educational sites and add your backlink, you will get instant Google love. If you can add your link to a Wikipedia page its like instant backlink gold, we have had sites jump to the first page of Google from the fifth page in less than twenty four hours.

Guest posting on blogs gives you:
1.)Backlinks
2.)Credibility
3.)Better relationship with the blog owner (networking)

You can't lose with those three benefits!

I wouldn't bother commenting on blogs with Google Caffeine only a couple weeks away - Blog links will be regarded as spam (most of them at least) in the near future.

Article directories are a great place to get back links. Also building several sites around your niche and getting them all to PR1+ and having your own little link network is a cool idea.

Get as many as you can, as fast as you can, theme relevent or not. Think about what google wants, CONTENT. If its good, poping up everywhere IS natural.

Yes, correct. But: do not under estimate your needed time to do that.
That is why I recommend semi or full automated link building , directrory submission or data entry . Many of these services are free available ( in case you need some good working ones send me PM,pls)
If you can afford it get a freelancer abroad to do that - not expensive at all!

article submission
social bookmarking and networking
press release
forum posting

Guest posting on blogs is extremely effective. If you don't want to write a post yourself you can hire someone to write the guest post for you. You can use this method with any site, not just blogs.
