As recently as 6 months ago I could create a site in a niche and get it indexed really quickly with some social bookmarking. I would even show up in the first first 1000 results of Google for my keyword. Then I would I've recently started a few sites in slightly more competitive niches and am building a healthy amount of links. Problem is that I'm nowhere in the first 1000 results of Google for my keyword phrase. It begs the question, has getting ranked gotten harder recently? |

Dude, I totally know what you mean. I've been having a lot more trouble trying to get new sites up, and get more traffic through search engines. Now I'm turning to social media, and forums, and stuff to drive more traffic.

Yeah, it's strange... I thought I was the only one with this problem. I would start a site and it might be on the 73rd page, but after building links from Angela's packetit would eventually shoot up. I guess it's becoming a trend. |
