Default Adsense above the title

Hey guys

In the past couple of weeks I've been playing around with my adsense placement.

Does adsense have different views about placeing the adsense directly above the title?

I want to try it out with a large square block above title then under the title have like 4 lines
of content then another 2 large square blocks and then the bulk of the contents with
some links units sprinkled in between and at the end.

You are only allowed 3 adsense blocks on the site but it is probably best to have two blocks. Google has no rules against your ad placements but with little content you will have a low CTR and you will not generate targeted ads or targeted traffic.

Googles rules about placement under the title are so grey that i choose to run all my ads over the title. Yes the CTR is a little lower but my account or sites do not get banned. I figure eventually they will move to not allowing anything under the title

My CTR doubled after placing horizontal link unit above the title. Haven't tried with 250x250 square block.

I do have content... over 350 words per page. What I'm doing is placing an adsense block above title and then two more right after the 3 or 4 lines of content.

So basically, all my adsense is in the first quarter of any given page. The rest of the content contains affiliate products from cj.
