How I made $50 from my new domain in 20 minutes

Making money from domain name is more of an art than being a business.

However, most wanabe domainers would want to crack the secret. Today, I am ready to share it right here.

There are several ways that I have used in making $50 minimum from my newly registered domain. Let me give two methods that I used.

First, I considered the qualities of a good domain that I can monetize by parking with a good parking site to generate daily income from adlinks.

Secondly, I had to research for a name people are very much intrested in and registered it.

Thirdly, I was to crack a code open from a mistake I have made for a full year as a domainer which costed me greatly as I was making cents due to that mistake.

The mistake was this: Read between lines on each domain parking company and you will discover traffic methods that you can use.

And depending on who is at the backend of the monetizing company such as yahoo, Ask or google, your account could be terminated if you implement the wrong thing. The parking company want you to send them your visitors and turn their clicks into cash.

And so I was to actually tweak my account and my landing pages and sent my visitors to the domain I have parked and that did it all.

A second way I was able to achieve this is to create a white-Paper and add all domains that are related to the white-paper and gave it out for free. Some visitors that downloaded where able to read the white-paper and genuinely visited the parked domains with relevant adlinks that converted to cash.

The naked truth is that any one can do this simple but open , yet secret strategies depending on the parking company.

My advice is that you read their terms of service before you implement this.

Now let me dismantle some of the things you will need: You do not just register a domain because it sound nice.

For example, I registered a domain liveandworkabroad.com, parked it with parking companies, parking companies will pump in adverts from thridparty and each visitor that goes to this domain (invariably is intrested in travel domains) will click on links to travel ads on the domain. And I am paid. The cost per click varies, depending on the location of your parked domain visitors. Niches like forex trading, domain, travel, sex, tourism, etc will give higher cost per click. There are niches that gives $35/click and you only need few clicks to make hundreds of dollars each day. This is just converting traffic from your domant domain into cash.


Now, selling this domain still have several factors before it can be sold. Factors ranges from traffic to others. But there are attributes. Domain is one niche that is highly lucrative on the Internet. I registerd liveandworkabroad.com for $8 sold it for $1,200. This is one of the cases...

Sorry to hear about this. You see, it depends on where you are parking and how you go about it. Domaining is more of an art than Business. You could also sell the domain.

I used to do that with adsense. Find out what ads were always clicking then joint the affiliate program direct.

Good point, get closer to the source of the money. Just curious, how do you know which AdSense ads were clicked? G AdSense console does not provide a way as far as I know.

No you will not see who click on your domain.
You only know the search they did to get your domain, you also know the country your visitors is coming from too.

The parking companies are everywhere. I use parked and dotzup. The major problem most people have is, they simply don't know what work needs to be done...And that is what Domaining is. It is more of an art than a business.

I tried domain parking and never made a dime. The ebook I bought suggested you look for domains that people might type into their browser and use a parking service to generate income.

Another suggestion was to find domains people might mistype into their browser. I bought a half dozen domains and didn't even get a hit.

The fact that you made $50 so quick is impressive.

Question for TheRealDomainer:
What do you think about sedo as a parking choice, and ...hm.. could I also send you my two domains so that you can give me some advice on them. There are not exactly what people would type into their browsers but I think they are very interesting and up to date, sort of speak.

You park your domain with a company and they then attempt to convert the natural traffic that the domain generates into revenue, via clicks on ads. In my experience the ads are not always that relevant so the conversion rates can be rather poor. I am not against parking but consider creating your own parked pages. It will take a little extra effort but you can ensure the ads are totally relevant and if you do generate revenue it will most likely be in the region of dollars rather than cents at a time as no parking company will be taking a cut of the profits.

So yes, I agree the approach of directing to your own page of ads makes MUCH more sense. Not always practical for somebody who owns a large number of domains but certainly more profitable. In this case the owner could manually convert the domain names that generate the most natural traffic.

If you register a domain that is called premium and high genericness,
you will not onsider using adsense.

A single domain that can make you $33/click will do better than
google adsense and this also depends on the location of your visitor,
keyword and what the advertiser is paying per click... Domaining is a good art

Multiply than a few times and it might make sense. But as for $50 in 20 minutes, I think you got lucky. I've found a $20.00 bill on the ground and since it only took 2 seconds to pick up I was making money at the rate of $36,000 an hour (for 2 seconds)

You can make a substantial amount of profit using this technique,but not very large.also this doesn't have much scope and is very uni-dimentional.

You do not need to use a domain you are hosting already. You can register and grow a portfolio of domains

Look for a domain that is typo-generic, short, trendy or void of cybersquatting.

Register the domain
park with with a parking site
drive immediate traffic to it
and you make your money
