Thanks Tron, Maybe I should have worded it better. - I have some websites. - I want to find out what page of google they are on. - Is there a tool or some kind of code to enter on google to find what page they are on. |

Hi, You can use Market Samurai. It's an awesome tool and does a LOT more than just checking for your rank. Or, you can go with Nick Madison's Niche Market Control Panel. Very cheap for what it does. It was offered as a WSO a few months ago, not too sure if there's an offer now too. Or, check this out -- Search Engine Keyword Position - SEO Tools - Search Engine Optimization, Google Optimization Or, |

Hi birddog200, Technically, Google doesn't rank websites they rank web pages. Additionally, each page will typically rank for a number of keywords and at different positions for each of those keywords. A good plugin for Firefox: Rank Checker - Track Google, Yahoo! Search, & Bing Rankings Free Google's Webmaster tools provides a report that shows you which keywords are generating traffic to your website along with the position your page was found for each term. www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ |

Rank Checker from SEO Spyglass has been the most accurate for me.

If it's not on the first page for your targeted phrase it doesn't matter. And here is a newsflash... what I see when I search is likely different than what someone else will see doing the exact same search. Google returns results based on Geography and is using cookie tracking. There is not such thing as a static placement. Gigantic sites with massive amounts of authority and relevance may stay close to static... but nothing is really static. |
