I have heard numerous times that AdSense pays around 80% to AdSense publishers based on their financial statements. But I am not sure if the math on that is completely correct in my opinion. However, I just read an article about a company that basically manages AdWords and AdSense campaigns and they were able to pinpoint the cost of one of their ads and compare it to what they got paid from AdSense. They claim that the payout ratio was 70%. Apparently they have a customer advertising on one of their AdSense sites. Seems weird to me but it is interesting none the less. There is really no transparency in the system. How much of the money is kept by Google, and how much is actually handed out is a mystery to everyone.
