Default SEO elite - Link Robot.txt no follow! (Wordpress)

When using SEO elite (I am running version 4) the backlink column to another site of mine lists the backlink "Yes Robot.txt no follow" What does that mean?

Is this limiting the effect of the link ?

If so how can this setting of no follow be turned off either globally or for specific links either by setting or by plug in

Thank you

Hi
I have never used seo elite before- by what you are saying it sounds like it is being set up as a no follow link or is being blocked by your robots.txt file.

Again im not too sure - I use a robots.txt plugin on my wordpress blog and maybe you are also running it. If you are then all you need to do is change it to follow from within your post.

Now if its a message coming directly from seo elite then im not sure sorry

It means the WordPress user is telling the Search Engines to apply a nofollow attribute to the links on the page.

You wouldn't want to turn it off. Some people want to know if sites are nofollowing links... especially in link exchange situations.

I use SEO Elite.

If the link is a good link, then don't worry about it.

It really comes down to your own view of nofollow vs dofollow

Personally I don't care. I work on getting links that bring real visitors, because real visitors click on links and don't even know what dofollow or nofollow means.

Hey thanks for your time.

But I am doing this for the sake of SEO and if "Link Robot.txt nofollow" is a nofollow link it would be useless to me since Google ignores nofollow links.

Thanks Again.
