so this is kind of an update to an earlier thread.... Ive had my website for 2 or 3 days now (built a couple hundred links) and a good portion of my backlinks have been indexed and my site is indexed on bing, and yahoo yet it is NOT indexed on google. Could this mean I'm in the google sandbox? |

After 2 days? Highly unlikely...as far as I know the sandbox doesn't happen for a few weeks.

The Google sandbox refers to inability of a domain to rank well at first. A lot of SEOs feel this is about 6 months. I wouldn't worry if your website isn't indexed in only 2-3 days. And I'm very surprised that Bing and Yahoo found your site before Google. That's NEVER happened to me before. Just continue building more links and content for your site. Check again to see your website has been indexed in a week or two. A word of advice my friend, SEO takes time. |

I've been noticing alot as of late that my sites are taking much longer to get indexed using the same methods I have used before to get a website ranked in less than 24 hours. I'm not sure why, maybe caffeine has affected sites being indexed as quickly as they used to. I could be completely wrong, but my sites have been taking 3 or 4 days to get indexed lately using the same exact methods I was using to get them indexed in hours. |

It's really surprising that Bing and Yahoo have found your site before Google! But it's too early, within 2-3 days your site has not been indexed that doesn't mean it's in sandbox. Don't worry, just do continue your white hat process and I think soon your site will get indexed by Google.
