Changing value clicks received through Adsense?

Hi and sorry for such a basic question. I've recently put adsense on to my Spanish language website, teaching English. The value of the clicks I get seems to range from about 2 p (3 cents) to 50p. Is there anything I can do to get more of the high paying clicks?

Also, could anyone suggest where to get some definitions and how to do of basic terms. All the beginner's stuff I've searched doesn't expalin the things I see discussed here. I'm not even sure how to get backlinks to my site. Cheers.

Everyone will scream change your keywords. Problem is, you can't make a
silk purse out of a sow's ear. If your page is on x y z, you cannot just
magically change your keywords to a b c, as a b c has nothing do do
with your site. In other words, if your site is on riding bicycles, you cannot
change the keywords to student loan consolidation.

Probably a very low paying adsense niche. So, you have to come up
alternative ways of getting a few more bigger paying clicks. Add other
pages that are related to learning english. Like job related topics.
That's a higher paying niche. Come up with either a blog or more
articles. Anything related to what a person is learning english for.
Travel, Jobs, education comes to mind. Those would on average be a
little higher paying than just learning english.

And as far as the aforementioned hypothetical bicycle page, I would
do a page on bicycles and college students. That way weave a higher
paying niche into that page at least.
