Default What's your CTR using BlueSense?

I followed the instructions from the post " how you can really reach 100 day w adsense", and after just over 2 months I am getting a reasonable payment from the clicks I get, at an average of 90cents a click.

But, my click-through percentage is around one percent. The thread said one could expect 5 to 10 percent, and on the Hamburgler AdSense thread someone said they are getting between 7 and 10 percent CTR's. What CTR's are others getting with BlueSense?

What reasons could there be for me getting a fifth of the CTR others get? Following the advice on the post, I am writing basic articles that just present fairly obvious facts, nothing too detailed or revolutionary. They seem pretty "average" to me, but could they be too informative so people aren't looking for more info? My pages and posts are just over 300 words.

Any other ideas what might cause this problem? I am using BlueSense as it is, adding a navigation menu on the right.

Chris,

It is against Adsense TOS to share what your CTR is... so be careful.

The CTR is really low though. Could be many reasons. Color of the ads, borders, ads not targeted enough...

If you want to PM me with your URL I can take a look.

Thanks very much for your reply. Unfortunately I don't have enough posts to PM you.

I don't want to put my email address here, one of the reasons being the point you mentioned in your reply! If you'd be so kind as to PM me your email address, that'd be wonderful!

thanks

psst... if you are using the same email for your personal life, business (adsense) and for goofing around on the internet (forums), you are wrong.

gmail... or hotmail... or yahoo... or thousands of others... they are free.

setup different email accounts to serve specific purposes.

Synthesize me, And reboot, I need to start again, I need to make it different

I use Blue Sense and though I cannot give you exact figures when I make a post on my blog and send an announcement to my list I do very well with Adsense. I have purchased Squeezetheme which is really beautiful and professional looking but one concern was how well it will do with Adsense. We will see.
