What percentage of CPC does Google pay to Adsense publishers?

I found very different statements, everything from
25% to 80% .

Does anybody know?

Nobody knows because Google certainly won't say. I would bet it's 50% or less.

  According to Joel Comm's Adsense Secrets it's about 78.5%. I believe this value is correct based on my own experience.
