When I go to my site, by default the homepage is called My De Domain - Ihre Onlinepräsenz! Jetzt bestellen! Now, because this is the default page, should I build links to the index.html or just the main domain address? (just the domain will also show you the same page). Thanks! |

I personally don't point anyone, anywhere to an index.html file. I don't even use one. I point everyone to a page that has a keyword rich name. So for example whatever your home page is about...make an .html page name that says something about what the page is about and then point people to it. It's more search engine useful to point people to http://www.mydomain.com/black-tuxedos.html than to point them to http://www.mydomain.com or http://www.mydomain.com/index.html (if my site were about black tuxedos that is).
