why squidoo hard to rank, ?

please tell me good alternative of squidoo, the vital reson i use squidoo because i can put big picture at squidoo page, this is marketing stategy, if i use other like ezinearticle, hubpages i cannot put big picture

It is not hard to rank subdomains...I haven't noticed it at all.

With squidoo you can't just put up like 2 duplicate articles and think you will rank immediately.

That is not the case anymore....

Put up unique content and maybe a video from youtube, and have like 3-4 articles, and put rss feed from your blog or something..

Do what it takes to send traffic to your lens from article marketing...or have a friend submit it to Stumbleupon. Just get a few links, maybe comment on a few blogs, etc.

Over time your lens will rank high in the search engines for your term if it isn't too competitive.

May be you are talking about angela backlinks. If yes then they are not sufficient from my experience coz most of the profile links doesnot even get indexed. Dont get me wrong they are all good but genuine backlinks are more likely to stay and rank better. BTW If you have misjudged the comp. level no amount of backlinking will help in short term.

There's a lot of competition on Squidoo now - if you want to get ranked, you have to be unique. Don't be pushing the same crappy product that everyone else is.

Plenty of quality backlinks will also help.

Hi

how many backlinks do you have through to your squidoo lens as this can make quite a difference on its location in the search engines. I have a few lenses and they all do rather well.

kind regards
