A lot of questions, first domain forwarding ? direct linking using your affiliate link rather than a land page.

OK yes you can direct link, as for land page, there are many schools on this so seek other views, but think more in the line of lad site not page, google want to see some things like privacy pages , about us pages and other related information.

That same thought process needs to apply if you intend to direct link. does it have the required pages.

next CPA offers, again seek clarification with googles rules / terms as many CPA offers may fall into the re-bill / dodgy ball park, so do your homework on what products and services are G approved.

Turn up some heat on your affiliate manager and ask them if the product is approved to run on G adwords account without getting you banned and if so can it be direct linked or will you need to create a land site.

Do your homework and you will be good to go, there are many making it work.

Maximize ROI ? trial and error over time or get a good adwords person to look after your account

I was direct linking for a while with google adwords.....
I found when I started direct linking my quality score was quite good, but once my account was going for a while my quality score started to drop and then my CPC rose!!

So I then started created landing pages with my index page, about, contact and some of my better niches i tried to create authority sites.

Which had articles and many internal links throughout the site, which gave me a great quality score...

I found direct linking good for testing, then if i was getting a few clicks i then created relevant sites to the keywords I was advertising....

I hope this helps..

Tas

I have used direct linking with adwords. It definitely works, but can get very expensive if you do not have a high converting product.
