I was doing a bit of KW research yesterday and came across a search term, I threw it into google and blow me away - 6 of the tops ten sites were all based on the ideas in Johns book! Im no expert on this and havent really been following all the threads that Johns great book has inevitably created, but wouldnt you want to change the styling just a little? 6 out of the ten sites for this quite popular search term all looked identical (that green and black design) and they all said virtually the same thing!! Btw - one of the sites on the front page had just one link into it! So for any doubters - Johns ideas work a treat. Im gonna throw up some of these sites over the next few months - its all in the niche research me thinks! Great job John - you must have helped a ton of people reach their Adsense goals (me for one, in the earlier coaching days!). |

i do a LOT of kw research i have seen THOUSANDS of xfactor sites. If anything, my fear is that the human quality scorers at Google are gonna start pressing that dreaded DE-INDEX button at one point or another. I mean, if your job was to judge quality of websites for 8 hours a day, and everyday you went to work and saw several xfactor sites an hour, how would you feel? ![]() Don't get me wrong John is a bit of a genius in his own way. His method works good. i'm just afraid it works too good. |

Peace :)

I guess those sites content are better than content of those directory sites, article and social bookmarking sites. At least those sites have real content, most of them only use the same template, and is the problem with that? Some people are very concern and make this thing big deal because they found out that the system is working and still they don't believe that it works.

| Thats the thing. They are not doing anything wrong at all. The principles are simple: Product niches pay. Backlinks make you rank. Attacking low competition niches reduces your workload and BAM - MONEY $ $ But at the end of the day, Google really wants the Adsense sites to look like this: https://www.google.com/adsense/stati...S/Success.html Ask the Builder - The Home Improvement Resource and most of the niche websites just don't look like that. |

| This is not true at all. As all it takes is one fail swoop from an authority site and you're out of there. Kapish gone forever, no need for Google to play an role in it. That's probably why they also don't mind the sites doing it but they will say goodbye to it as quick as it got there as long as someone else with a better way of doing things takes up those keywords.

Ya, as time increases, and the number of web properties increases, they will eventually get bumped down. My strategy is, for the niches that take off, to convert them to wordpress enabled megasites with independent footprints.

Well you can either live in fear and wait at the sidelines or take action and do what works now. SEO will definitely evolve and we will be right there evolving with it.

I don't see why they would be deindexed. There are lots of blogs with ugly default Wordpress theme that are still listed. If there is an adsense violation, then that site or the account could be disabled, but for rankings or indexing I don't see why this would matter. |

They may not de-index the sites, because they have some content on them. But I won't be surprised if your AdSense account gets banned because of the high CTR etc. My advice is setup these sites, and when you hit some gold nuggets, convert them to at least semi-authority sites. |

The new course update (I'm writing it now) will include **examples** of about 8 different layouts I've used with great success over the last 6 months, which I purposefully tested just to ensure that any "look" will work so long as the basics structure if minimum ad blocks are used. So hopefully that will get people to change things up a bit with their site designs ![]() - John

Yeah just give people an "EASY" button and they will mess up a great idea. If there are 6 out of 10 same design websites, on the same keyword (I bet domains look alike), similar content, that's not looking good guys. Google's job is to offer people different relevant results. I'm sure with some time all these sites will disappear. Xfactors idea is great and as we see it works. But common guys, be intelligent, don't use same template, change and tweak things, then you won't have problems with G. |
