For guru here --- Is there any service or tool that allow you 1. indentify content websites where your ad display, by catetory, or keyword, users profiles etc. 2. automatically bid for display slot on these content websites upto max price and cap of each day 3. Track ad performance . The key for above 3 steps is automated. Assuming the text ads and associate keyword lists are ready |

He's talking about Adwords, not Adsense. You can run a placement report that gives the stats for each domain your ad appeared on. There's also the demographics report for those sites which provide the information (sex, age). |

Sorry I didn;t make it clear.. I was refering to Adwords API indeed. What I am thinking is automatically place ad on relevant content websites, tracking performance, then filter out under-performer and keep the good ones. Then repeat the process ... |

This can certainly be done with AdWords API. But it would require writing custom application to automate those tasks. Discovering targeting placements can be done with AdWords API TargetingIdeaService while providing various options. Automatic bidding can be done with AdWords API campaign management services, the most that would be used is AdGroupCriterionService for changing placement bids. Tracking ad performance can be done with AdWords API ReportDefinitionService. So it can be done, but using it in the workflow that you described would require writing custom application, otherwise there wouldn't be much of so much desired automation. |
