[newbie] Associate CB affilate with domain

Hey

I've just signed up as an affiliate at ClickBank and got an affiliate link:
"hxxp://xxxxx.hop.clickbank.net/".

In addition I've registered a domain with hostgator which I want to associate with the affiliate link, lets call the domain affiliate.com.
Instead of typing "hxxp://xxxxx.hop.clickbank.net/" I would prefer to be able to use affiliate.com instead.

I want this because then the domain will contain the keyword which is relevant to the affiliate.

Not sure how to do that?

any suggestions?

If you want this:

yoursite.com/go/link.php

Then save this as a php file "link.php" and upload it to a folder "go" in your hosting.

I don't use hostgator but it should be about the same if you use Cpanel. Just go to domain redirects and follow the instructions for 301 redirect.

Of course there are other methods also.
