I just been looking through my articles on EZA and I noticed a trend that I thought I would share. My lowest CTR is 4.4% and my highest 48%. What I noticed is that any of my articles that had a title like "how to find..." or "the benefits of..." had by far the higest CTR, generally 20-40%. I thought that was interesting, perhaps not. Feel free to flame |

No flames here... i do find that the title affects the views and the resource box affects the ctr. also some niches will always have a low CTR no mater what you do | |

My best CT rates are where I have managed to work at least 2 closely related keywords into the title. They are also long titles

Yep - my average is 7%. Highest is 15%. I think it dropped after EZA put the rule in not to have an anchor text in the main body but only in the resource box.

My average CTR is 30% and my highest was something like 60%. This is out of over 1000 articles. I always have a call to action as anchor text. Another tip is, if you are promoting say a 80% off special deal or whatever, have that in the anchor text. Above tips will probably do more harm than good for SEO purposes. But if you're writing to get customers to click through and come to your websites, you'll see a HUGE difference in the CRTs by implementing above 2 tips. Here's another BIG tip! Make the 1st sentence of the resource box BOLD, so that will grab the attention of the reader's eyes towards the resource box. And then you have a special offer and/or a call to action ==> high CTR |

Sorry, I should have mentioned the resource box was the same across all the articles.

Ahh, I see what you mean now. All articles were on same overall topic but different aspects of it. I guess the resource box could have been more personalised though. I think another factor is that if someone is motivated then "how to find" or "benefits of" appeal to them so perhaps you get better people clicking on the article? Who knows? |
