Default How do Adsense outbound links affect page rank?

Hello. I am TOTALLY and COMPLETELY NEW to SEO, Adsense, Internet Marketing, you name it. Anything on these forums, I am new to. With that said, following the advice of a fellow warrior, I downloaded an ebook called SEO Faststart by Dan Thies and have been reading it. I came across the following information:

For pagerank purposes, limit the amount of outbound links on the page you are trying to rank high. (He says you lose linkjuice with outbound links)

My question is, if the above is true, how do the outbound links on your adsense ads affect that page's rank?

Hope that question made sense.
Thanks!
April

Adsense is a javascript. Search engines do not see the links as links.
They see no links at all.

Think a little more logically and take this a step further.
There is a lot of discussion about outbound links.
To put this to bed, think about warriorforum.com

How many outbound links does it have? Each post has
a sig with many links, on subjects from animals to zits.
How do these outbound links affect the ranking of
warriorforum.com? After all, they want to rank high for
internet marketing forum. How do they rank? Do
a search for internet marketing forum. Then decide whether
all those outbound links on a zillion different topics and websites
affect the ranking of this forum.

Take the logic and run with it.

The warrior page that returns for that search (the root) contains very few outbound links. Each page is also kept to relatively low OBL by the limit of replies per page.

Hi im a newbie. I was overjoyed today to see my website hit no 1, first page this morning. However, this evening I just checked and I am on page 3.

The only thing I did today was add some adsense. The ads look relevent but I think it has something do with my pag ranking. I have taken them off to see if it makes any difference.
