Probably not. I monitor day to day traffic but don't track every little search update.

But think about this:

Google is using GEO IP Tracking and Private Cookies to return results. So the search you do to see where you are "Ranking" may be totally different from a user in another state or a user who has been using Google and is getting results based on that cookie.

Search is changing rapidly.

i checked for some of my sites that are targeting specific keywords and all of them are ranking in the same position as the regular search results! so I'm not worried because it means that i still can make sites rank high in the new Google !

Nope, constantly checking rankings and backlinks is something I have found to be a waste of precious life.

I'm actually surprised that Google Caffeine has not yet been fully rolled out. I would have expected its implementation by now.

Of course you won't and neither will most people. Caffeine is a software upgrade to improve response, not an upgrade on how Google ranks sites. They never said it was a different way to figure out rankings yet, that's what everybody assumes.

Google is always trying to improve their algos and there are a few major updates every year which may or may not affect your rankings. The data center you are connected to also can show different results as the changes get propagated throughout the system. All normal and nothing to worry about. I'd worry more about how to achieve the best ranking possible while still offering value to visitors.
