Why am I ranking well in Google Ireland?

I asked Google to answer this a couple of weeks ago but they have not replied. I suppose I was a bit naive to expect any.

My site Audio Books Online - Download to IPod or MP3 ~ Best-Audiobooks.com is hosted in the UK and updated by both myself (based in Ireland) and a UK company.

For some reason my site is ranking very well in Google.ie (Google Ireland) and especially in 'Pages from Ireland'. No1 for 'audio books', audio books online' etc..

Unfortunately the Irish talk so much they don't have time to listen, so selling audiobooks to them is tough.

Seriously though, my inbound links are 99% international, mostly US.
My target market is English speaking countries but Google seems to have other plans for me

Can anyone suggest any reason why Google is ranking me in this way.

I wonder if it has anything to do with your domain name registration address. If it does then I may have to rethink some of my campaigns.

Sorry, I just checked your domain registration and it shows its registered to a uk address, so it can't be that

this happens all the time for many domains I own, it will vary month to month

I consider this normal

I called the lads in the Docklands, told them to stop talking for a minute, and give Kieran a whoosh up the SERPs.

But I don't think they took kindly to my demands and probably thought it would be funny to put you in front of a nation who can't shut themselves up for long enough to listen to anyone else yabbering on.

Nice site you have there, do you get much traffic and sales, I would rate audio as one of the must haves, I am stacked out in the car with different storys and training books, just my thing
