Default Anyone use Artisteer for static HTML sites?

If so, how do you place adsense code into an html generated site? I have a trial version, and I originally wanted to use it to make a wordpress theme, but I can't seem to tweak the posts the way I want them. So, I created a static html site hoping to place my adsense code in, i exported my theme, brought it into Seamonkey Composer for editing, tried to paste the code into the source view, and when I did, my background disappeared along with a few other elements.
Any seasoned Artisteer users out there?

Thanks!

I really hope someone out there can help, I have been wracking my head all night trying to figure this out.....ugh!

You're better of using the wordpress or joomla options, inserting adsense in those cms is very easy, be honest with you I never even knew artisteer had a html option. I might have to play with this a bit.

this learning curve is driving me nuts! i was going to use Wordpress, but I wanted to my site to look like a static site, so I was going to only have 1 post per page, and I wanted to have pictures at the top of my pages with the adsense underneath the pictures. Wordpress posts aren't configured like that though, and I have no idea how to get my posts configured the way I wan them.
Do you know how customizable Joomla is in respect to image and adsense placement?

I would use another package for HTML sites, Artisteer is amazing for WP sites though, for that I use Easy AdSenser, great plugin.

I love the WP themes it creates. They are beautiful. Has anyone used Artisteer to create XFactor like sites? (That's originally what I wanted to use it for, but I couldn't get my posts XFactor style, with the images at the top, followed by the ads, then the post. (anyone know how to do that and still use Artisteer?)

BTW, why do you not recommend Artisteer for static sites?
