Default Static xfactor site, or WP clickbump template?

Hello, I'm struggling between chooing a static html site or a wordpress site.

For building a xfactor html site, should I use xsitepro2? I have the program, but where can I get the template? Or you have to pay for the template?

I have the clickbump WP engine, but I'm really hesitating using it because I heard that a blog needs alot of new content as its rank will lower if no new content is added. And my plan is to build alot of micro niche websites, so I won't have time to return to old blogs to renew their content.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

A blog would not be effected by a lack of new content any more than a static html site would be so that's not really an issue.

As far as a template for the xfactor sites, it's not really necessary. The sites are extremely simple. A header and a side bar is pretty much all there is to it.

He said he already has xsitepro2. He's got a good web site builder. There's no need to search high and low for a template. Something simple is fine and there's also no reason to make it look identical to 90% of the other xfactor type sites.

What is the problem here?

You have Xsite pro 2 - go on and use it. You will get excellent results - If you don't believe this then talk to a guy on this forum called xfactor. (Oh the irony!) He recommends it and has templates for you to use with it.

This is so simple that I am confused as to why you are asking your question.

It doesn't. I have WordPress blogs that haven't been updated since 2007 that rank for their target keywords.

To someone that already said they have the paid version.

I just brought it up because it looked like you missed it when he said he had xsitepro2.

If you didn't miss the fact that he said that and you were mentioning a free version for anyone else that may be reading this, that's cool, I have no problem with that. It just didn't sound that way to me.

You have your answer there, not because old blogs won't rank, but because you aren't going to go back and update wordpress everytime they crap out a security fix, er um, I mean new version. As Yoda would say. Hacked, you will be.

Old blog posts rank just fine providing they have the links to support them.

I'd stick with static html pages. No database overhead, no php vulnerabilities. Either buy xsitepro, or make your own template and honestly making a template which is nothing more than an html doc that serves as a reusable pattern for new sites or pages, most of your work is done.

I missed that you own xsitepro. If you do, just use that. So much simpler. Just make a site with blank template and then put in the sidebar and header. It's checking a couple boxes in xsite and you'll have your template done.

I never liked working in xsitepro, that's why I don't really wanna use it.
I think I'll go the WP way since it's easier.

Don't waste your time considering which publishing platform to use...it doesn't really matter. What you should focus 100% of your efforts on is site creation, IMHO, nothing else is more important than that when creating adsense niche sites.

Wow... a bit off topic, but thanks for the resource tjcocker!

I've been meaning to learn a bit more about css recently... this has made it MUCH easier!

Cheers,
