I have a date exclusion SEO plug in and it is activated. My posts however all contain dates. The boxes are checked. I tried it both ways I still have dates. Is there another problem? I tried to delete it by going to plugins - checked the box by SEO Date Exclusion and selected delete then hit apply... Nothing happened. I did it twice but the plug in is still there. I tried deactivating it and reactivating it but no luck. |

I am assuming this is a WP blog. Are you talking about your post urls? If so, go to "permalinks" under "settings", select custom and paste this /%postname%/ or /%post_id%/%postname%/ Hope this helps |

My Permalinks are set as: /%category%/%postname%/ That is what I was advised by the person who informed me to download the date exclution plugin. should I change it? |

Hello. I had this problem too. Well all you need to do is activate is (as you prob. did) and then go to Settings -> Date Exclusion SEO -> And check the right boxes. No need to delete anything in the editor. Have a great Day!

There seems to be a problem with the Date Exclusion SEO plugin with the latest versions of Wordpress. It has nothing to do with his permalinks and everything to do with the fact that the guy who wrote the plugin hasn't updated it in 2 years. Jason C. Maxwell |

Here guys try this. Go to settings>general>date format>chose custom and then clear the box so its empty then save. The date no longer appears on your posts! |

You will probably just have to go into the code and delete it manually. That or find a theme that gives this as an option. |
