What Do You Feel Is The Biggest Need In SEO?

Wondering what others feel is most needed in the seo industry.

I feel like there are many many backlink packets, and backlink finding guides, but whats lacking is a good piece of software to automate your link building. Sure theres article submission, rss submission, social bookmarkers, but in the end most people get most their links from profile link building (angelas lists, pjs lists, ect). This is either done manually or outsourced. Yet there are no good software solutions for this, the one program I tried that claimed automation of building angela links was a horrible disappointment.

Anyway, what Im getting at is enough link packets, we need some software.

What else is needed?

There is software out there, you just won't be able to buy it, why would people sell software that's making them $10,000's/week?

Linking loophole is actually the software I said was a disappointment, for me at least. Has anyone else had success with it?

Still would like to know what other people feel is needed in the seo industry

In today's SEO i would say we all are lacking an "all-in-one" bit of software. I think I have around 10 different programs that all do different things but I think it would be great if someone could wrap all of those individual softwares and launch it into one program. That would save me a headache in a half.

Better yet if the software used the BEST methods to get you ranked with a click of a button. Seems like I learn something new everyday.....maybe they could use the auto update feature to implement the lastest changes in the SEO world.

Yup and add to that something that allows you to 'drip feed' content at certain times, e.g. you can bookmark certain urls after say 3 days, submit articles to directories oh and maybe a system where you can automatically add to web 2.0 properties. If you;ve got lots of sites then this would be ideal!

I think the 'killer app' would be a tool that allows you to create unique content which is grammatically perfect.

Theres tons of tools on the market and Ive tried a fair few like article spinners etc but NONE have had good results without human intervention. If you can create something liek this then you'll probably be a millionaire overnight.....I doubt it'll ever happen though!

The all in one software is something I was also thinking about. I find I have to run 5+ different seo programs at once and would love to have that one click option.

I've also tried a few article spinners, the grammar never is quite right. I wouldnt say its something that will never happen, but it would take an advanced software to do this.

Exactly. If people have software that automatically builds links and makes them money, they probably won't share it or it's gonna cost a lot of money.

Until you learn how to create your own link building software or somehow get a hold of it from a friend or however, you're probably gonna have to do it yourself.

After alot of testing I found that Roboform was still the best for this. Its mature (several versions old with ton loads of existing users who review it and swear by it) , it can be customized (with the pay version) and its completely free in its base version. It has the added benefit of being useful for any kind of form filling not just backlinks and it was the only one that allowed me to put a link when I found a site not have to stop copy and past and load a link into a separate program.

Daniel--while we technically may be considered "competitors" since we both offer SEO products/services, it sounds to me that people want someone to DO the "heavy lifting" SEO stuff FOR them. Like a project manager to handle outsourcing, coordination, implementation, and reporting from A-Z. Offer it at a price competitive rate, and you've got a winner.

As for software ... While it would be nice if there was a piece of software to do all of this for us, we all know it's difficult to create the "killer app" for SEO because there are too many moving parts, and the algorithms change frequently.

The risk of creating or even purchasing the all-in-one "killer app" is that the app is rendered obsolete as soon as there's an algorithm change to counter balance the impact of the software. Or, worse yet, the external services utilized by the software change the way they handle things such as logins, posting content, validation, verification, etc. It becomes a nightmare for updates for both sides.

My two cents for what they're worth.

The biggest need in seo is the reorientation to optimice online marketing for users, not for seach engines.

I think there is a lack of SEO Standards like what SEO is, what is the requirement to optimize a website, the definition of SEO etc. Without such standards, it is often left to some SEO Gurus to make the call to convince his clients what are the best practices to follow.

The biggest need in SEO is not more automated link building software IMO, but the need for better SEO knowledge to the people wishing to undertake SEO. There is way too much bs and advice out there which people follow. I would not use any automated link building software as link building requires human judgement, IF you want to rank well.
