Hi. How much traffic is required per day day roughly for a adsense website to have any sort of success? Is a site with 20 visits a day sufficient? Thanks. Jim. |

| I gotta give you a special award for that because I have been looking for just that type of response! I was going to say 1 person could equal 1 click. But seriously, the measure of success is relative. 50 cents a day could be a success. One click out of 20 could be a success. If you mean how much traffic to make $1,000's? Well, I would take a look at the other side. A steady few dollars a day or month is very reasonable. Too many people think everyone else is making a ton and they can't figure out why they don't. There is a correlation to traffic to adsense revenue, but only to a point. You can make just as much with 20 visitors as someone does with 200. And here's something everybody knows. One day you could get 500 visitors and make $100. The very next day you could get 1,000 visitors and make $5. When you start doing the numbers game with visitors and adsense, it will drive you to the funny farm. Paul |

You can earn with 1 click, depends on how laser-targetted your niche is. Also, it depends on things like layout etc. Focus on quality content targetted around your user's needs and hopefully you'll get the clicks. Don't go down the road of developing a site around high paying clicks becuase chances are you'll never rank for it and secondly you'll lose interest. Hope that helps. Zaheer By the way. great answer Rich :-) |

define success. if you are looking for a buck a day - then 20 visitors may do it. If your looking for more - you need more relevant traffic.

When it comes to Adsense you need targeted traffic. You could get 1000 visitors and if it's not targeted at all, you might not get any clicks. 20 visitors a day however is not very much. If you plan on making any kind of decent money with AdSense, it's gonna take way more than 20 visitors a day. It's not that easy to make money with AdSense anymore but it's still possible. Just work on getting as much targeted traffic as you can. |

You need lots of traffic to make AdSense work well for you. If you were selling a product, you could do a lot better with a low number of visitors that are highly targeted, however, with AdSense, you will need to get a lot of visitors daily to get your earnings higher. |

There is no correct answer. Can you make money from low traffic sites. yes you can. you can also make nothing. So how much traffic you need depends on what you are doing. How many Jets does Boeing have to sell to make money? How about an Apple producer... how many apples? The point being you can make money in a lot of different ways and numbers mean nothing without a plan. You have to view Adsense from an Affiliate Perspective. You are "selling" the links to your visitors. Do that and you make money with little traffic. |
