Hi fypnlp,

I have never heard of Google publishing a specific percentage.

Here is the official Google Duplicate Content Guidelines:

Always post fresh and unique content on your website. Duplicate content will never let your website get a good rank.

A little duplicate content never hurts. If you stuff your site with
articles that you have pulled off of other sites, and I mean stuff,
your site will not get very much love from google. That does not
mean I am saying there is a penalty for duplicate content. I'm
just saying that if that's all your site is, don't expect much. You
will be outranked by plenty of other sites just because they are
doing a better job.

Having sites outrank you is not a penalty from google.

Duplicate content in and of itself will not hurt.

So, in your case, it should not hurt if you have a decent mix,
and tweak the content.

Google only really "penalizes" for deceptive practices as far as
duplicate content goes. They know how to handle dynamic urls
as well.

Do a search on this forum for duplicate content and you will get
some good info if you pay attention to those who really know what
they are talking about.

The post above is a direct link to google. Many people for some
reason just don't want to believe google.

I always put unique content on my sites. If I outsource it - I make sure the articles pass copyscape.
