Default what "used tires" taught me about link building

nothing what a little reverse engineering can't do...

What “used tires” taught me about link building

I just posted this blog post - basically shows you what I did to get a list of blogs with top commentators plugin installed.

Now, be respectful, and don't spam these blogs!

I just removed top commentator from my review blog last week. It was on too many such 'lists'.

No, it's not. Almost all you get is automated spam and unrelated comments. If you get 90-100 comments a day and they're almost all of the "Great Post!" variety it gets annoying weeding through them.

It looks like you are not using the Top Commentator plug in yourself. It can help you build links if you comment on others who use it. But as a site owner it obviously brings in a lot of unqualified disinterested traffic that is just looking for outbound links.
