|  how to get German backlinks?
Hey there, anyone doing SEO in German speaking countries? If so, any advice where to get backlinks? (the social bookmarking sites are rubbish over here, article directories sh** (and no real juice), we don't have .edu/.gov (any idea what alternatives I can use to those), so am I stuck with blogs? there's even an expression for what's going on, they call it (translated into English) "link-sharing-stinginess" many thanks in advance Veit |

I dablle in a bit of foreign language websites. I've found the best way is to just "build your own backlink pages" By this I mean: Set up a few blogs on free blog hosts for your language. Even wordpress and blogger blogs do well(they allow foreign language articles). Build up some pagerank to these blogs and use them for backlinks. |

kinda explains why you have keywords with 3000-6000 *daily* searches and the top ranked website in Google has PR of 0, maybe 1, very rarely 2 and above. not in one niche, but tons and tons of niches. ah well, off to set up a few link-wheels then.... Veit Quote:

I am also in German niche market,and so far it is not so easy. I totaly agree with you Veit - I can't find any good article directory, SB or web 2.0 to start with building backlinks... Does anybody know if there is at least something similar like ezine, goarticles, squidoo, hubapges,...?? Tnx |
