What does google think of web domains that have no external web links? I.e. im thinking if i make my affiliate links (currently php script redirects) no follow (if this is even necessary?) NOFOLLOW links, then 100% of my links will be no follow if not php scripts. What does google think of such a website, might it be considered a dead end website, that should be avoided? of course ending a link i lose some of my "PR love juice" and that isnt good either! best regards! |

Reminds of of watching the old king fu series. nofollow has nothing to do with any of that nonsense. That's not what it's for. Pretty useless to use nofollow for what you want. The links from your site mean squat unless you link to an illegal activity or some site that google hates. For most of us, we don't worry. Google created a monster with this nofollow tag. A monster, that is, for people who just don't know what it's use was really designed for. Google could really care less if you use nofollow or not. They would rather you use it on links that are unedited and immediately posted by people, such as blog comments. If your theory was correct about google not liking it, then I guess people with "nofollow" blogs would be out of luck. But then why would google want you to use nofollow on your blogs? Because wikipedia gets edited by anyone at anytime, they need the nofollow. Paul |
