Hi, I thought we could begin a thread which would have all the important info about AdWords sponsored search. I am not that experienced with it, but I can begin. Please post more advice further down in the thread. 1) Use all the space you are given (title, body, and URL), but don't do it in such a way that it dilutes your message. 2) Try to use the query in your ad several times. 3) Use capital letters in the beginning of the words if you can make it look natural. 4) If your product is a TM or R, then it's good, in many cases, to use symbols such as ™ or ®. 5) Have a "call to action" such as "Buy Now", "Order Today" or similar. 6) If you have something to "sweeten" the offer with, such as discounts, or similar, then that could be beneficial to have in the ad. 7) If you can write your URL in the by just adding ".com" to your company name, then that can be beneficial in some cases. Example Ad for car rental. Query is "Car Rental" The company is called "CheapCars" Title: CheapCars® Car Rentals. Book Your Rental Car at CheapCars.com, Order Today, Get 10% Discount! www.CheapCars.com/Car-Rental Post your suggestions below. Everything from how to group the ads, to how to bid, to how to write them. |
