No Adwords Ads Displayed?

Hi guys,

Strange thing happened, I was checking on the number of ads in Google for some keywords and nothing was shown. I thought this couldn't be because these keywords are pretty searched for.

I decided to try with "make money", "Lose weight", "cure acne" and "forex" and I saw ads only for "make money" and "forex". Absolutely NO ads for "lose weight" which is pretty unbelievable.

I checked my search filters and I checked that I want worldwide results, tried in Yahoo (there were some ads) and I wonder if my IP could affect that. I live in Bulgaria and obviously there shouldn't be Bulgarian ads in English.

Could that be the reason?

Advertisers can select the country they want to advertise in. They can also select the language. Bulgaria is not usually I country I target since the primary language is not English. If you want to see English ads, you must set Google to show results (both natural and sponsored) in that language. Your default is likely Bulgarian. Advertisers must also be targeting that country.
