Default How to protect your AdSense account from an "invalid clck" shutdown?

Does anyone else have more than one legal entity through which they control multiple AdSense accounts? This seems like a good way to diversify the risk of having one account shutdown. I've heard the stories about people getting an e-mail saying there have been "invalid clicks" or whatever.

Any way to really cut the risk of having an account shutdown?

I should also ask... what's a good alternative to AdSense in the pay-per-click space?

In reality adsense is the best method for making money if you're into the whole ad type of thing. It's quick and efficient and, at most popular.

I don't believe google works that way.

Google has a very strict, but very open and easy reading
TOS. People ignore this for the most part, or bend the rules
and think nothing of it. But google will get you if they want
to.

As far as click bombing, as I said. I don't think google works
that way. Far too easy to shut someone down.

There's a lot of behind the scenes stuff that goes on. I'll
just bet that google has ways of stopping real click bombing
that most people don't know about because it doesn't show up
in the reports most of the time. Google always analyzes clicks.
I don't think click bombing is what a normal user would have to
worry about. Of course if the site is large enough, google will
always look the other way. There's no way the the DP forum
never gets click bombed. Probably happens on a daily basis.

Too many invalid clicks is probably code for they think you and
your friends are clicking.

Hi, You can install a adsense tracker to your website, so that you can track the stuffs and clicks and ips from it. Any suspecious activity report it to google. By this google will never ban your account. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the replies, some good thoughts.

About the reply above. I would be leery of substituting my own judgment about what is suspicious activity for whatever it is Google AdSense thinks might be suspicious activity. It might not hurt to have something like that installed to know more about click activity, but I don't know if I would want to send those reports to Google. It sounds too much like having a 24/7 job of monitoring the stats for activity that may or may not be suspicious - but thanks for the idea.
