I have been a member of the eBay Partner Network since 2008 and have been earning a steady 14 cents per click up until last month. On Feb. 14th I had a bot rampage thru 1 of my sites with 168 phantom clicks. I notified EPN and for 3 days after I earned nothing. Since then there have been days where I have earned between 38 and 46 cents a click. Other days it drops back down to 14 cents. Nothing spectacular has changed other than the bot attack. There is not a lot of information on the forum about the EPN as they have driven a lot of affiliates away & banned the accounts of others. I am wondering if some other EPN members can share what a good EPC is? This increase in earnings has me taking interest in the EPN again, as there have been days where i am getting 50 or more clicks at 30 to 45 cents a click. That kind of money can add up over a month's time. Kind Regards, Andy |

Fill in the Blanks... EPN S_C_S I used to pull $60-$80 commissions from auto sales. I'm now lucky to pull 3 cents a click. If you can pull 14 cents you are doing pretty well. Across my sites I'm in the 2-7 cent range and basically pulled ebay except for old sites like BANS which have no real alternative other than to populate with a few affiliate ads and let them rot. The first two weeks of Feb I got paid nothing.. zero per click. Then in the 3rd week they started paying again... minuscule but something. There is no rhyme or reason to what they are doing. |

What I am wondering though does anybody else see this bounce in EPC? My sites will earn 14 cents a click and then for a day or two they will go to up to the 30 to 45 cent a click range, then they drop back to 14. It seems when I show actual sales on my report, the EPC goes up, & then goes down again. Is there anybody actively creating EPN sites that has any insight into this? |

Hey Andy - I'm actively working on building new sites. I have found a traffic source that continues to send engaged traffic that actually converts. I too have seen my EPC scores dip to as low as .02 per click and as high as .74 per click. I recently just had a record day with EPN at $123. Now, while this isn't the norm I typically have sites that manage the exact same numbers as you, .12-.15 range, a few that are in the .20's and many more that are in the .04-.12 range. The way I see it is they continue to pay. There is no other program with a longer cookie drop (Amazon etc). Your EPC will fluctuate unless you are managing very large campaigns. EPN said so themselves that unless each campaign is sending a minimum of 50 clicks per day that you are not going to get an accurate read from the algorithim. Good Luck... BTW, just accross the big creek from you over in Milford, OH. |

Thanks mhuffs, I know the overwhelming sentiment on the forum is that EPN is not worth the trouble, but I am finding lots of little keyword phrases that have 1000-1500 exact phrase matches, little to no competition, & the .net, .org & even .com domain name available. Sometimes eBay is the only monetization option that makes sense. With competition that low it is easy to get to page 1 instantly with a Wordpress blog optimized for the keyword with the keyword as the domain name. Just wondered if anyone else was still actively pursuing this route, my sites are just blogs with relevant eBay auctions attached to the posts with the phpBay plugin, but they make sales and get a steady EPC. Small world that we are almost in each other's back yard. Maybe we get together for a lunch or something sometime. Nobody amongst my friends and family understand what I'm trying to accomplish, and sometimes it's nice to talk face to face with someone who understands that internet marketing is not a pie in the sky pipe dream. Thanks for your response, Andy PS is there a market on Flippa for sites with established EPN earnings? What might they go for? |

Funny, my wife thinks I'm crazy until I show her the monthly deposit. She is leaving me alone lately to do more. Shoot me an email through my contact page on the Cornhole site listed in my signature. We can chat via email and get together.
