Votes on Social bookmarks, good for SEO?

Does anyone know if getting votes for a social bookmark is good for SEO.

Obviously it would send the bookmark higher up in the featured links for while. But then it would go down again.

But does "votes" mean any thing for SEO?

if u got vote for your post it means that have some useful content & Search engines loves that type of content.

You will get traffic, but 1 can't help, you need to have as much as possible.

Since SEO = Search Engine Optimization, no, social bookmark votes are not going to improve your SEO.

Improving your title tags or gaining backlinks would improve your SEO.

If you are buying links or adspace, that would be SEM, Search Engine Marketing.

However, social bookmark votes could increase your traffic and improve your overall Internet Marketing efforts.

You can get backlinks and some traffic by social bookmarks.
