|  Is traffic or hits to my sites are important for Google ranking
I am new to SEO and have one new site which I need to promote. I heard that high number of visitors is important for high ranking. Is it true? If it is how can you fake it? Also, all the do-follow links which are offered here, do they worth anything? Eli |

Traffic and visits are more important for your website so that you can get good business. For search engines you need to have quality content and good backlinks. Quote:

Yes it is always to have some traffic flowing to your site, i too heard about this thing, the traffic will helpful in keyword rankings but not sure..

This is your first post - and you say "If it is how can you fake it?" Are You kidding? Stop trying to fake it - and add quality content for the long term. Get good quality backlinks for good rankings. |

hi guys, I'm new on the forum, so forgive me if I chat bogus lol, just wondering is it actually possible to fake traffic?! I would've thought google detects fake hits, right?

Just don't fake, google will catch you and sometimes will bann you from the indexed.

Google considers quality links over quantity so be sure to get incoming links from highly authoritative and well-trafficked websites. You must also have quality website contents. If people find your site interesting, they would link you to their site. Also, don't copy contents from other sites too since it will negatively affect you page ranking. Use popular keywords. You can use wordtracker or Google adwords to get an idea on what people are looking for. Getting a high page rank takes time so be patient  |
