google has been SO slow indexing these last couple of weeks.....

what is this, amateur hour?

I have to disagree. I launched a new site yesterday night and I already have four pages indexed.

Link to your site from some blogs. This always gets me indexed very quickly.

Google is always slow. I use sig links to get the ball rolling.

Put a link to your site - if it meets WF sig files rules - in your sig file if you want it indexed FAST.

I have to disagree here, i bought domain yesterday, today i just go to check and i got indexed

it was real surprise for me, to be honest i didn't expect that but google dance all the time

Use a half dozen social bookmarking sites to bookmark a couple of the pages of your site. Every site I've built is indexed within 24 hours using this method. Also if you have some interesting content you might attract a few bonus backlinks along the way.

I don't think so man, Still Google is speedy and indexing faster. May be you should put some extra work on making Google to visit your site.

If it's a Wordpress blog make sure in your settings that you have it set to allow indexing of the site.

Web 2.0 type of linking and bookmarking seem to get good results for me for getting a site indexed.

AND don't forget a sitemap. I think those are excellent for getting indexed.

If you are WP users there is so many plugins that may be useful if you want to get indexed by Google too.

googles fast if you do it right. You also want to add as many google positive backlinks from like articles, blogs, press releases, and videos-google owns youtube so what better video site for that.

woow.. no I have to disagree.. dont be hurry.. it takes time in order to indeex and depends on you how you will be promote so that you could index easily.

Google still index fast, but what's the hurry?

I would plan my site's keywords and backlink them like crazy... just want my pages to rank for my keywords, I don't really care much about indexing these days.

It depends on what you are trying to get Google to index. A wordpress site usually will be indexed faster than a regular template site etc.
