Adsense really takes time, you need to have a lot of good content and backlinks...It does not happen fast. It took me a year to see a very nice earning on my websites. Just be patient and dont get discouraged.

It seems your CTR is very low, you want to increase your CTR, 250-300 unique visitors per day, you should be earning almost $8.00 in one day, not three months.

I have sites that only get 150 uniques per day and have broken $10.00 in a single 24 hours period before, and average $5-7 per day.

Doubling your CTR is just as effective as doubling your traffic when it comes to earnings.

Are your ad blocks above the fold? Perhaps try a large rectangle under the header and above the fold (if you don't think that looks to spammy),

I think the reason is your traffic..You have to get more traffic if you want to get more earnings...And try to get visitor from search engine than from twitter or something like that..Hopefully useful..

i hv daily 1000+ visits, and very good traffic from Social media!!
i would like to see your site to get an idea, how u convert $10 from very low traffic!!

I hv good traffic, nd i also got thousands of visits from digg and stumble just bcz i hv good profiles there!!

Hello Sir,

Number one tip is ad placement, I place mine right under the heading, before the content, above the fold.

Your niche plays a huge role in your CTR. I target mainly products that people would be googling to purchase. If someone is looking to purchase something, and they search on google, click on your site and right at the top of the page is a google ad that says - SAVE 25% on InsertItemHere -- Chances are they are going to click!

So target products, or things people would be searching for that they want to purchase. You are going to get way more clicks if your domain is on the niche of "cheap nike sunglasses" than if you did a niche like "lindsey lohan news"

2nd, I see you said you get a lot of your traffic from social media. That is notoriously bad converting traffic, so that is also going to lower your CTR.

I get 95% of my traffic from organic listings on Google, Yahoo and Bing. This traffic is much better converting than social media traffic from places like digg, etc.


These are some of the tactics I use, I have many sites that can get as high as 30-40%+ depending on how good of a day I am having.

Keep it up though man! That is some nice traffic from Social Media, add in some organic SE rankings, and you will have a monster of a site on your hands.

If you have that kind of traffic but your having trouble monetizing it the you should go to flippa and sell the site. You should be able to get a couple hundred off someone who thinks that they can monetize it and then you can get back to what you do best. Building sites and driving traffic.
